Who we are
Schwer is a pre-launch fitness coaching platform based in Germany. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, email us at hello@schwer.fit.
What we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. That's all. We do not collect your name, location, payment details, or any other personal information at this stage.
Why we collect it
We collect your email address to notify you when Schwer launches. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the waitlist form.
How your data is processed
Your email address is stored by Resend (resend.com), our email delivery provider. Resend stores it in their contact audience and we use it to send you:
- A confirmation email when you sign up
- A launch notification when Schwer goes live
No other processing takes place. We do not use your email for marketing, analytics, or profiling.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address until:
- You unsubscribe using the link in any email we send, or
- You ask us to delete it by emailing hello@schwer.fit, or
- We no longer need it for the stated purpose
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything before withdrawal
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority

Third parties
We share your email address with Resend solely for the purpose of email delivery. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
Changes to this policy
This policy covers the waitlist only. When Schwer launches, we will publish a fuller privacy policy covering the app. We'll notify you by email.
